Theatrically released on 6/6/2008, the fantasy film follows Po, an unlikely hero who rises to become the Dragon Warrior in a richly stylized, wuxia-inspired version of ancient China populated by anthropomorphic animals. Rendered in blue pencil, this expressive drawing showcase Lewis's exceptional draftsmanship and ability to convey personality through gesture and form. Lewis, a veteran of both Disney and DreamWorks, played a key role in shaping characters across major animated features, including Ratatouille. His work is celebrated for its clarity, energy, and storytelling strength, helping define the visual language of modern animation.
