Theatrically released over 30 years ago on 11\/25\/1992, this animated film sees a kind-hearted street urchin named Aladdin, and a power-hungry Royal Vizier struggle over a magical lamp that has the power to grant three wishes and allow their deepest desires to come true. Jafar's animation was supervised by Disney Legend Andreas Deja, who created these drawings and based the character of Jafar on Marc Davis's design for Maleficent in \u003ci\u003eSleeping Beauty\u003c\/i\u003e (1959).
