This magnificent hand-drawn illustration is from the production of Disney's 1996 stop-motion animated film James and the Giant Peach. The film, based on the 1961 novel by Roald Dahl, tells the story of James and his friends as they travel across the Atlantic Ocean to New York City.

This original drawing was created and signed by Pete Von Sholly, who is famous for having worked on over 100 films and illustrated trading cards and graphic novels for IDW, Dark Horse, TwoMorrows, Clover Press, and many more!
