Here is a unique and original production animation cel, hand-painted and hand-inked, depicting one of the characters from an animated segment of Sesame Street. This artwork is absolutely one of a kind, created by the world-renowned artist Keith Haring.

A few years before his death in 1990, Keith Haring created a series of animated drawings that resulted in a short film produced for children’s television and broadcast on Sesame Street.

Today, Keith Haring is considered one of the most important artists of the 20th century, alongside Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Jeff Koons, Banksy, and Egon Schiele.

This is an authentic hand-painted animation cel by Keith Haring, created for use in the production of an animated segment for the television show Sesame Street. The artwork measures approximately 32 × 27 cm and is a one-of-a-kind piece.

The lot also includes a photocopy of a letter sent to the studio, as well as a set of sheets related to the production storyboard.
