Marsupilami : Original Animation Production Drawing (1993)
Authentic hand-drawn production artwork created by animators for an episode of the famous Marsupilami TV series.
The character of Marsupilami was first introduced to American audiences in 1992 as part of Raw Toonage, an experimental Disney anthology show designed to showcase new animated characters and concepts. Due to its popularity, Marsupilami was given his own spin-off series, produced by Walt Disney Television Animation and aired on CBS during the 1993–94 season.
This artwork is a genuine piece of Disney studio history. The character itself originates from the iconic Franco-Belgian comic books created by André Franquin, making this drawing a unique crossover between European comics heritage and Disney’s renowned animation production.
