SAILOR MOON : Sailor Chibi Moon Animation Cel with Master Background (Toei Animation, 1992-97)

Sailor Moon : Sailor Chibi Moon Animation Production Cel with Master Background (Toei Animation, c. 1992-97).

Sailor Chibi Moon, also known by her civilian name Chibiusa Tsukino, is the adorable daughter of Mamoru Chiba and Usagi Tsukino in the distant future, where they are named King Endymion and Neo-Queen Serenity. Chibiusa is presented in this hand-painted 12 field production cel in her casual clothes with tears streaking down her face, displayed on a stunning Master background of a park, which is rendered in gouache on background board. The background has adhered to the back of the production cel, and it shows light tape wear on the bottom right corner. The cel has fading ink on the linework and very light surface scuffing. Both the cel and the background are taped along their top edge.
