A note from FLIP Gallery:
Created in the 1950s by Charles M. Schulz in the Peanuts comic strip, Snoopy has since crossed generations, continents, and mediums — from comics to television, cinema, and merchandise — becoming a timeless symbol of global pop culture.
"Snoopy 740" – an explosion of emotion and pop culture by Harleen. Large format, one-of-a-kind piece, blending tenderness with rebellion.
Harleen worked for many years as an assistant to several contemporary painters before deciding to unveil and sell her own creations in 2020. Her art is instinctive and abstract, combining figurative elements with a raw and uncompromising style.
Each piece is a reflection of her emotions, created in the moment, using bold colors and expressive gestures that capture the mood of the day. This painting, titled "Snoopy 740", is a unique interpretation of the iconic character, merging street art and pop art influences into a vibrant and expressive composition.
The canvas measures 100 x 80 cm and is designed to be stretched on a 30F frame. Harleen is an emerging talent on the French street/pop art scene, and her work is beginning to gain recognition. This is a rare opportunity to acquire an original piece by an artist poised to become a major figure of her generation.
