3000 Leagues in Search of Mother : Original Animation Production Cels with Background (Isao Takahata, 1976)

It is an original hand-painted animation cel from the classic Japanese anime 3000 Leagues in Search of Mother (Haha o Tazunete Sanzenri), produced by Nippon Animation in 1976.

This beautiful set consists of two cels (one for each character) and depicts the young protagonist, Marco, in a quiet and moving moment, accompanied by a printed background that enhances the scene's atmosphere. The series, directed by Isao Takahata, is part of the renowned World Masterpiece Theater collection and is based on the novel Cuore by Edmondo De Amicis.

A rare and touching piece of classic anime history, highly collectible for fans of vintage Japanese animation and World Masterpiece Theater productions.

Condition: Good (see photos). The girl's cel has a few minor paint chips where the other cel of Marco is glued.
