Aladdin : Jafar Original Animation Production Drawing (Walt Disney, 1992).
"No, Iago, only until she finds a chump husband. Then, shell have us banished...or beheaded!" Jafar is on a rollercoaster of emotions having botched his plan to take the magic lamp from Aladdin at the mouth of Cave of Wonders in this superb original rough animation drawing by supervising animator Andreas Deja. He knows his time is coming to an end once Jasmine is Queen of Argrabah, but his chattering minion Iago proposes an idea - marry Jasmine so that way he can be Sultan and bow to no one. Theatrically released over 30 years ago on 11/25/1992. Jafar’s animation was supervised by Disney Legend Andreas Deja, who created this drawing and based the character of Jafar on Marc Davis's design for Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty (1959). Andreas was also the supervising animator for many memorable characters from the Disney Renaissance Era and beyond. Rendered masterfully in graphite with color pencil on 16 field 5-peg hole animation paper and can be seen between the 42:18 - 42:40 timestamp of the animated film.
