JERRY : Original Animation Art Drawing (MGM, 1955)

That's My Mommy : Jerry and Little Quacker Original Animation Production Art Drawing (MGM, 1955).

"Leave me alone!" After nearly being baked in a stew for his "mommy" Tom, the adorable Little Quacker fights back against his savior Jerry in this original animation drawing from the Tom and Jerry MGM short That's My Mommy. The first film to also credit the series' illustrious creators as producers after the retirement of Fred Quimby, this Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera-directed short debuted on November 7, 1955 as Little Quacker's second film of the calendar year and fifth appearance overall. This rough animation drawing bears resemblance to a sequence of the short starting near the 3:45 timestamp as Quacker beats poor Jerry over the head with a carrot. Rendered in graphite on a 12 field sheet of animation paper, numbered 35 in the upper right corner. With light production handling wear, edge wear, slight age-related toning, and a bit of staining in the bottom left corner not impacting the artwork, this piece is in very good condition.

Size : 31 x 26 cm

The drawing is sold unframed.
