The serie was created by Sunrise's collective pseudonym, Hajime Yatate, and feature direction by Katsutoshi Sasaki and mechanical designs by the legendary Kinio Ookawara, known for his work in momentous series like Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets, Space Runaway Ideon, and most famously his involvement with Mobile Suit Gundam.
