This stunning 1987 artwork is hand-painted in the style of Disney shorts from the era. The background is rendered in gouache, while the character elements are painted on separate cel overlays. One cel for the line art and one cel for the coloring.

On the coloring cel, a small area of Mickey’s face is stuck to the background. See photos.
