Mickey's Garden : Mickey Mouse Original Production Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1935).

A rare pair of matched original 12-field 2-peghole production drawings featuring Mickey being chased out of his garden by a giant bug ! These are from the Mickey and Pluto short directed by Wilfred Jackson that was originally released on July 19, 1935, and feature a great running sequence with Mickey. Graphite with red and blue pencil highlights. Mickey is marked #193; the Bug is #148, with an extra set of holes added.

The paper used by Disney studios in the 1920s-1930s contains a distinctive watermark, visible in one of the photos, which further attests to its authenticity.
