« Mickey's Kangaroo »Original Production Used Animation Drawing of 1935 ! (Walt Disney)
In this short directed by David Hand and released to theaters on 4/13/1935, Mickey Mouse receives a pet kangaroo named Hoppy from a friend in Australia. Hoppy and her pesky son, or "joey," drive Pluto crazy by smashing his new dog house, eating from his bowl, squirting him with water from a well pump, and sending him careening down a hill in a wayward wheelbarrow! In this rare animation drawing, Mickey discovers Hoppy's baby "joey".
The paper used by Disney studios in the 1930s contains a distinctive watermark, visible in one of the photos, which further attests to its authenticity.
