Offside Soccer : Original Animation Production Art Cel and Matching Drawing (Ashi Productions, 1990’s)
Original hand-painted animation cel and matching drawing (douga) from the Japanese animated series Offside (also known as Offside Soccer), based on the cult football manga by Natsuko Heiuchi. This series is part of the late 1990s generation of traditional Japanese animation, produced just before the industry’s transition to digital techniques.
These were used in the production of the series which aired on Japanese television.
The cel displays vibrant colors and clean line work, while the original drawing shows visible pencil lines and production marks typical of Japanese animation studios.
