Society Dog Show: Original Pluto Animation Production Drawing (Walt Disney, 1939).
After Mickey applies some perfume, Pluto revels in his fancy new smell in this expressive original animation drawing from Society Dog Show. Premiering over 85 years ago, this Bill Roberts-directed short notably marked Mickey's last short with his classic design as well as his 100th appearance in a Disney cartoon. It is often regarded as one of the greatest Pluto cartoons. Expertly rendered in graphite and color pencil, on the 12 field 5-peghole animation sheet. The image can be seen at the 2:22 mark of the film.
The paper used by Disney studios in the 1920s-1930s contains a distinctive watermark, visible in one of the photos, which further attests to its authenticity.
