Pokémon – Rare Original Animation Layout Correction Drawing featuring Ash Ketchum, Pikachu & Max (Studio OLM, 2003)
Offered here is a rare and authentic 1/1 original animation layout correction drawing used in the production of the Pokémon anime in Japan.
The artwork was created by OLM Studio, the legendary Japanese animation studio responsible for the Pokémon animated series. This particular scene appears at approximately 5:19 in Season 6, Episode 36. The sheet features Ash Ketchum, Pikachu, and Max.
This drawing is a genuine layout correction sheet, used by animators to revise and refine an earlier stage of the animation process. In Japanese animation production, yellow correction papers are traditionally used for these adjustments, making them especially interesting and desirable production artifacts for collectors. Because it is a correction sheet, the drawing is unnumbered.
Executed in graphite pencil on original studio animation paper with peg holes, this piece is both a unique behind-the-scenes production item and a highly collectible example of early 2000s Pokémon animation art. Original Pokémon production drawings featuring Ash and Pikachu together are becoming increasingly scarce on the market, especially correction sheets of this quality and rarity.
A rare, exclusive, and collector-grade piece for fans of Pokémon, anime production art, and Japanese animation history.
Size : 27 x 24 cm
The drawing is sold unframed.
