Mistress Fauna, the gentlest of the three fairies, makes her grand entrance in this outstanding 16 field 3-peghole animation drawing. This is the Walt Disney's sixteenth feature length animated masterpiece, Sleeping Beauty, and this moment can be found early in the film near the 5:20 timestamp. Appearing with her full fairy attire, including wand and fluttering wings, this endearing spell caster is known for presenting baby Aurora with a "gift of song". The fairies were animated by two of Disney's "Nine Old Men" and fellow Disney Legends Frank Thomas (1912-2004) and Ollie Johnston (1912-2008). This remarkable drawing is rendered in graphite, with red color pencil underdrawing, and the page is numbered in the bottom right corner. The page have light age-related toning with production handling and edge wear.
