Superman: The Animated Series "A Fish Story" : Superman and Lex Luthor Thugs Original Production Cel Setup (Warner Bros. 1999).

"I thought I heard gunfire. That's enough." Just another day in a superhero's life, Superman comes to Lois Lane's rescue in this original hand-painted cel setup as he quickly deals with Luthor's thugs from the acclaimed Superman: The Animated Series. This is a picture-perfect moment of the Man of Steel fighting crime and would look perfect in any DC or Warner Brothers collection. Originally aired over 25 years ago on 5/8/1999 as Episode 9 of Season 3, this episode sees a series of strange and aggressive sea creature attacks which lead Lois, Clark, and Jimmy to uncover Lex Luthor's unethical underwater experiments, which include the imprisonment of Aquaman. As tensions rise, Lois and Superman must free the King of Atlantis before a full-scale war erupts between the surface and Atlantis. This production cel can be seen at the 12:56 timestamp of the episode and are displayed with archival tape over a print background for presentation purposes.

Accompanied by a signed COA from Clampett Studio Collections and bears a Warner Brothers Production Art seal in the upper right corner.

Condition : Very good with light debris, beginning signs of light faded linework on Superman's upper hand, and minor handling wear and edge wear.

Size : 31 x 26 cm

The cel is sold unframed.
