Released direct-to-video on 2/21/2006, the Marvel feature film follows General Nick Fury as he encounters an extraterrestrial threat that forces his hand to form a team of meta-humans, super spies, and tech geniuses aka The Avengers. This iteration of the Avengers is a more grounded take of the larger-than-life superheroes as it was based off the reboot comic line of the same title in 2000. This film is quite unique with the filmmakers choosing to produce Ultimate Avengers in the traditional 2D cel animation process as opposed to the rising trend of the time with computer generated animation. The drawing can be seen between the 1:01:47-1:01:48 mark of the feature film. The animation drawing is rendered in graphite with red and blue color pencils for shading. The overall condition is very good with light handling wear.
