“Wonder Woman” (2024) by Freda People reinterprets this legendary icon through the lens of modern pop and urban art. Painted entirely by hand using acrylic and spray paint, this large-scale work captures both the power and sensitivity of the heroine — a fusion of color, energy, and attitude.
Freda People are David and Javier Salvador (Banakkan), two brothers from Barcelona among the most influential young artists on the internet today. Inspired by Haring, Basquiat, Picasso, and Dalí, they merge street and fine art into vibrant, expressive compositions. Their works have been exhibited in galleries across the U.S., France, Austria, Germany, and Finland, and they’ve collaborated with figures such as actor-painter Jordi Mollà and TikTok star Khaby Lame.
