"Remember what the master said." "Oh, pish tosh. I'm not about to let the poor child go hungry." Mrs. Potts stands her ground as one of the caretakers and servants of Beast's castle and refuses to let Belle go without a meal, regardless of what the master of the castle says. She hops to it in this wonderful eight 16 field 3-peghole animation drawing. It is rendered in color pencil in this scene starting at about 38:19. She was voiced by the late Angela Lansbury and her animation was supervised by David Pruiksma, who worked at Disney from 1981 to 2001 and supervised the animation of Buzzy, Mrs. Potts and Chip, the Sultan, Flit, Hugo and Victor, and Mrs. Packard and Mr. Harcourt. He would later work on Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, and teach at Launa College until 2018.

This hard-to-find drawing from the animated film is in very good condition with light edge and handling wear and minimal toning from age.
