I'm Popeye the sailor man." Presented in this exceptional hand-painted publicity cel created for CBS's Saturday-morning cartoon The All-New Popeye Hour featuring the titular character Popeye the Sailor and his main squeeze Olive Oyl. Originally aired over 45 years from 9/9/1978 - 9/5/1983 for four seasons with a total of 56 episodes (164 segments) and produced in junction with Hanna-Barbera and King Features Entertainment. The H-B Ink and Paint Department hand-painted this for publicity material as well as reference for consumer products such as books, calendars, toys, coloring books, bags, and more!
